Dottie's Photography Basics Photos for Week One

All of the following photos were shot with my Canon Rebel XTi, with either the kit 18-55m lens or my 75-300mm lens. I've been focused on something else this week and so haven't gotten out to take any new pictures. These are all ones I have taken in the previous few weeks. The first 4 pictures have been cropped - I tend to do that as soon as I load them up on the computer, especially with the animal pictures. In the future, I won't crop any more that I load for this class.

On all of these, I used the auto setting on my camera, unless otherwise noted. Some, but not all, of the photos have the camera settings because those pictures were still on my camera and I could retrieve the data.

As you can see, I love to take pictures of animals.

These next pictures were taken at a nearby park on a rainy, overcast day. I think I used the landscape setting on all of these.
